Synopsis:
Jim Grant and Vince McNulty meet in a New York bar to reminisce. McNulty was Grant’s tutor back in the West Yorkshire Police. Flashbacks link several previous novels and outline their differences in character. Good cop bad cop. Friendly cop angry cop. Which is which? When a gang tries to rob the bar they decide to go with, bad cop bad cop.
