Thrillerfest in New York. July 2014. My first Thrillerfest and what a thrill it was. New York baking in the summer heat. Rekindling old friendships and sparking up some new ones. Meetings and deals and talking books for three days. How good does this job get? Not much better, barring an Edgar nomination or hitting the New York Times bestseller list. Maybe one day. For now I’m enjoying the fruits of my labours, and since I enjoy the labour that’s a win win situation.Roll on Bouchercon in Long Beach.
