Blood on the Bayou – Bouchercon 2016. The Big Easy. New Orleans. House of the Rising Sun. Call it what you want but one thing it certainly is is hot. Really hot. And steamy, in a good way. It was also the scene of the mystery writers conference, Bouchercon, and a good time was had by all. It was great to catch up with old friends and be introduced to new ones. It’s nice to know there are readers out there who like my books and even nicer to meet some of them. There is no competition only support from the other authors. As Harlan Coben said in his opening speech, a rising tide lifts all boats. New Orleans certainly floated mine. Happy reading. Colin.
